I've run into condescending Christians more than than I have Atheists, but I have no trouble believing that they (the condescending athiests) exist.  Assholes exist in every group.

Look at Biden. That's the face of a man who'se just dropped some proper rotten arse on the room - a real festering sphincter special and is trying desperately not to burst out laughing and reveal himself. Pelosi's smelt it and and knows who dealt it. McConnel is appalled at the maliferous odours - just appalled at the enormity of the stench - but doesn't want to say anything incase he gets the blame. I don't know who yer man on the left is but he's clearly amused by the whole thing - he knows where it came from and think's it's hilarious. The other lad wonders what everyone else is smelling - the whole world probably smells like shit when your nose is brown after all.
