I think it's a little further out there than the headcanon one of the Milliways folken* had, that Richard Blinken-Smythe aka "Dick Blinken" was the same person and/or apostle as Rick the Cool Guy off The Young Ones, but YMMV.

* He went by hooper_x on LJ, and I think he'd gone long before noca found us.

IIRC, you choose a target, throw it and it flys off and kills them. It does +not_ come back , so now somebody around your target has the sword.

That would lead to an awful large death toll fairly quickly in Westeros...

That's the one, yes. And that's exactly what tended to happen every time it was used in its own canon.

Googlimg the word got me some Caldur's Gate III character, devoted to Baal, I can't imagine that would end up much better, though.
