For those who haven't seen it yet, it's a Potter Peggy Sue -- a post-victory Harry goes back to become his 11-year-old self and do the last seven years
over. The twist here is that he does it accidentally, and he goes back to an 11-year-old self in an alternate timeline where Neville Longbottom is the
Boy-Who-Lived (but not an orphan, his parents survived, and he ended up something like a chubby Draco), and Harry's got a handful of younger siblings. The
schoolmates he knew are different, too, and that keeps him off balance for a while -- an athletic, aggressive Hermione (bookworm and field hockey
goalie) is just the start. Oh, and it's an Uber!Harry story, too.
The only thing currently grating on me is the author's inclusion of some as-yet unexplained crossover elements. Why is Illyria from the Buffyverse
attending Hogwarts as an 11-year-old Winifred Burkle? I hope it's not just a "oh it was cool" thing.

I guessing it _is_ the rule of cool. I've spotted a few other elements (Like Wanda Maximoff). One crossover element is one thing, multiple ones are almost
always 'just because it's cool'.

All of the guy's works are loaded with lots of 'cuz it's cool' crossovers.

Well, at least it's mostly off in the peripheral at the moment. The story so far is entertaining, if not spectacular. Although, have you noticed that in
these fics, even though the author purports that he's not going to be doing relationship stuff because it's 'icky' for 11 year olds, they do it
in spades anyways 4 chapters in?

yuri. (my opinion: don't like slash.) (I've stopped reading a number of fics of that author simply because of that reason. kinda reminds me of a
professional female writer that turns her main character to that direction.)

Just to up the irony quotient, I ran into this guy on SpaceBattles the other day while he was complaining that Terran Jedi had finally jumped the
shark because of - get this - too many crossovers.
