- Morganite - 08-29-2008 Nope, the only thing required is you being bingoed. And Greass (and anything containing it) is untradable. -Morgan. - ECSNorway - 08-29-2008 Ok. -- Sucrose Octanitrate. Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode. - ECSNorway - 09-17-2008 So. Anyone up for bingo'ing me tonight? -- Sucrose Octanitrate. Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode. - zero sum mgame - 09-17-2008 Do you need it done before dayroll? - ECSNorway - 09-17-2008 Right now would be nice. So I can get in the House mish before I hit the sack. -- Sucrose Octanitrate. Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode. - Norgarth - 09-17-2008 it also counts if you lose a Bingoing attempt on someone else (although then you get a 24hr bingo) Which is how I ended up getting it. ___________________________ "I've always wanted to be somebody, but I should have been more specific." - George Carlin - ECSNorway - 09-17-2008 Hmmm, that worked. Thanks, Timote. -- Sucrose Octanitrate. Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode. - jpub - 09-17-2008 It's offering to let me do that, but I'm not sure. Right now, here's my options: 1) Keep doing BurgerNinja until I gather enough stuff to try doing a BN special. 2) Work on some more B- or maybe some A-Ranks and hope I get some more allies. 3) Leave the village and get Snakeman. 4) Hope everyone else in creation decides to not play so I can maybe get Sannin level or the 2 B A Master mission. I don't have enough stuff for the Reaper intro. Any advice? - Morganite - 09-17-2008 *Is a bit confused, not sure what you mean by what it's offering to let you do...* In any case, you want to do the Reaper mission series. In fact, it's best to do every part as early as possible, since Shikai will make it much easier to pass higher rank missions. (Bankai... mostly for wasteland and special purposes.) The theme you get from getting True Blood of the Reaper will make life easier in season 2, where you'll probably want to do the Trade, thus bingoing will be important. And there are some nice looping items. Therefore, what *do* you have? If I remember right, you need 3 reaper items, and there are 3 different tradable ones. I've got spares of both butterflies, and there's Soul Gloves in the storehouse. There's also a good number of allies available through the reaper missions, and you'll want to get 46 before you loop, by whatever means it takes. If you've got the patience to spend a lot of time bingoing, it's easy to get a few there too, but it's a lot harder to accumulate the style if you don't have Seasons Don't Fear. (See: "Do reaper missions".) Sannin doesn't depend on other people anymore. You just have to have 1mil daily xp (for a season 1) on the day you do the special mission. I'm told this is quite hard to do though; season 2+ requries 2 million, but there's a ton more bonuses available. Completing 2 B A Master... probably not easy. BN is interesting, but probably not as valuable until you're in Season 2. (And the final mission of the current content may just be impossible for a S1.) -Morgan. - jpub - 09-17-2008 Soul Gloves and Heck Butterflies is what I have. I can't find any other item. - ECSNorway - 09-17-2008 That should be all you need to start, IIRC. If it's the other butterfly you need, you can get it through D-rank grinds... -- Sucrose Octanitrate. Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode. - Morganite - 09-18-2008 I've sent a Swallowtail Butterfly to Paradoxe. -Morgan. - jpub - 09-18-2008 *Thank you*. Grinding D Missions is brutal. - zero sum mgame - 09-25-2008 Burgerninja is frustrating me. I've made it to the very end (Shift Manager of DOOM pt. 2), but despite it being a Gen/Nin/Tai special mission, you can't use non-burger allies or jutsu. Now, as far as I know, there are no burgerninja jutsu, and none of the allies give a range bonus. I've only got a range of 1-15, and I need 15, 16, and 17 respectively to pass the mission. I don't have the reputation available to get the Arena items that give range, and I've already got Chakra Armor from the shop. Is there an obvious solution I'm missing, or am I just stuck here? - Morganite - 09-25-2008 I assume you've also got K-dog's Headband and Ninja Dog. Well, or the Letter of Marque. Monochrome can get you two +1 range items. Completing Wasteland as a RedEye gives +2 Nin range. Then you start getting into things that are really involved. Runic items, moon, monster drops... Basically, that mission is really, really hard to do. One might say it's one of the hardest things in the game right now, just due to the limits on what can help you with it. -Morgan. - zero sum mgame - 09-25-2008 I've got a Ninja Dog and the Letter of Marque. The prize wheel hates me, so no Headband. I've not done Monochrome, and barely started Wastelands. Looks like next season, then. Thanks for the second opinion. - Norgarth - 09-25-2008 one of the BN foods (fries?) gives +1 Dou range for the day. I don't know if eating multiples would stack or not. Also, I don't know which season you're in, but you might want to check/change your difficulty setting. ___________________________ "I've always wanted to be somebody, but I should have been more specific." - George Carlin - Morganite - 09-26-2008 We're talking about the final special mission for BN. It uses Ninjutsu, not Doujutsu... but you still can't use regular allies or jutsu. (Special missions do not seem to be affected by the Crank.) (Oh, and multiple greassy foods *do* stack. Since the foods are easy to get once you have CiCi and her incredibly frequent Pizza drops, it's a good idea to eat as much as you can when you're going to do BurgerNinja. But you still won't be able to finish unless you can pass a 17d17s ninjutsu test without allies or jutsu. And since it's a special mission, none of the one use items I know of will help either...) -Morgan. - ECSNorway - 10-15-2008 17d17s? Geez. That's ... damn. On the other hand, I did have the pleasure of meeting the Eleventy Billion Hokage. Yes, he lives here in Rochester, and actually owns Hammergirl Anime, IIRC. Cool guy. I'm considering things to suggest for him to add to the game. -- Sucrose Octanitrate. Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode. - Morganite - 10-15-2008 Actually, I was wrong. It's a 17d17s *taijutsu*. After a 16d16s ninjutsu. Which comes after a 15d15s genjutsu. It toook me a few tries to pass that. '.' -Morgan. - Morganite - 10-17-2008 Jpub, were you still interested in the game? You're 13 days idle now? Also, Timote, did you want to stay kage of UNIT Force? I don't really care that much, but I'll probably be ascended sooner... -Morgan. - Norgarth - 10-17-2008 Also, Timote, did you want to stay kage of UNIT Force? I don't really care that much, but I'll probably be ascended sooner... good point. yeah, I'll pass the hat back to you. ___________________________ "I've always wanted to be somebody, but I should have been more specific." - George Carlin - ECSNorway - 10-25-2008 *mutter* I seem to've mussed the timing on hanging out with Scary and Sporty. I've got one but not the other tonight. Anyone got a Make-Out Mood Enhancer to spare? -- Sucrose Octanitrate. Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode. - Norgarth - 10-29-2008 Anybody need a 'Necklace of the First HoCage'? I seem to have found a spare. ___________________________ "I've always wanted to be somebody, but I should have been more specific." - George Carlin - Morganite - 06-12-2009 Been a while since we used this thread, hasn't it...? Anyway, as people in the village already know, we're likely to be blowing up UNIT Force Village fairly soon. That means a new village with a new name, and... Well, I have no ideas. Even if a lot of our members (including some of our best, I think) aren't related to these forums at all, they're still our "home", where we got started. So I'd like to kind of stick with the theme somehow. Of course, if there's anyone who doesn't play but is interested, now's a good time to start. We'll need more people to start the mission anyway, and Survived the Impossible is a nice item. -Morgan. |
