- Sweno - 11-12-2010 just as a note: the tags depend on javascript to function, so they will not work if someone has no-script turned on (for example to prevent the outbound link hijacking that occasionally happens) Perhaps using hidden text that doesn't depend on javascript would be a better idea like this ->example white text -Terry ----- "so listen up boy, or pornography starring your mother will be the second worst thing to happen to you today" TF2: Spy - Bob Schroeck - 11-12-2010 Either one is fine by me. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. - s3yang - 11-12-2010 I have to say, the Ghost story concept is cool, but I'll be a bit annoyed if it's used to ditch the winter - knight mantle. - Sweno - 11-12-2010 Given what was said in Changes I think it will, and Dresden will probably be happy about that, but he will probably not be happy about Mabs reaction to loosing her knight so soon. And Mab may end up calling in that last favor. -Terry ----- "so listen up boy, or pornography starring your mother will be the second worst thing to happen to you today" TF2: Spy - Wiregeek - 11-12-2010 Agreed, Sweno, S3Yang. I think that he'll manage to escape that particular sentence for about five minutes. "No can brain today. Want cheezeburger." From NGE: Nobody Dies, by Gregg Landsman http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5579457/1/NGE_Nobody_Dies Escape - Rev Dark - 11-13-2010 I disagree - I suspect this story is breathing room for the author to work around the changes in power level/situation that he has written his hero into - a straight up detective case with a few twists. While his new role makes him more rock and roll, it also brings out new, tough enemies (cough Elder Gruff); but doesn't put him over to top on extant foes Cowl, or Council members. Plus as his mentor reminded him - it is all about his own choices. His role remains autonomous; he can defy the Winter Queen; and unlike Slade, he has enough juice that he can't simply be pushed around. (Plus the open question of his role as the guardian of Demon Reach, Lash possibly returning to his slowly recovering brain-pan, etc.) Shayne (Possible spoilerish stuff in white) - Wiregeek - 11-13-2010 you know, however the BASTARD handles it, I just want more more more more NOW please, thank you.
