Both Windows Vista and 7 have memory leaks that only show up if you leave the computer running for a long time. One of the svchost processes will steadily take up more and more memory, especially if you regularly run AV scans, which leads me to believe it's something in the file system access subsystem.

I as a rule reboot my Vista and Win7 boxes once a week. Makes them run a lot zippier.
