- Niteflier - 04-19-2011 Hm.. Playing Portal on the PS3 is tracked on PC Steam. Interesting. Don't know how to get that ID, so I can't give you mine, sorry... Edit: Okay,On Steam, name of 'drogan_niteflier' (Real original, that.) and I think the page is http://steamcommunity.com/id/niteflier Might not be on all that often due to school, currently, but I'd love to try out the co-op with someone. - Black Aeronaut - 04-19-2011 Yep, that's me. Haven't spruced up my account, but it'll come soon. EDIT: Thanks Hoagie! Wheeee! Portally goodness! (^_^) - Jorlem - 04-22-2011 Just finished playing through the co-op mode on the xbox 360 version. It was quite fun (if rather frustrating once or twice.) Going to try out the single player mode tomorrow of this weekend. ----- Stand between the Silver Crystal and the Golden Sea. Some of them, especially later on, are two parters. That is, you finish one puzzle room, and then there's another puzzle room before it goes to a loading screen for the next stage. It took my brother and I about maybe 7 hours or so to get through the entire co-op mode, with a break for dinner. I didn't time it though, so that might not be quite accurate, and there were two or three puzzle rooms we got stuck on for a while. ----- Stand between the Silver Crystal and the Golden Sea. Maybe by the time silentjack works through Portal a few times we'll have Portal 2 and we can run that sucker together. - HoagieOfDoom - 04-22-2011 I can testify that co-op is a lot fun. I played it a little bit with my roommate on his XBox360. It was made even more fun because we kept "accidentally" killing one another. The whole experience was reminiscent of a session of Paranoia. I beat the single player, took me about 7 or 8 hours and it was some of the most ridiculous fun I've had in a video game. I mean, you use - Sweno - 09-18-2011 for anyone who didn't get a free copy of portal 1 last time around, they are giving it away for the next few days (offer ends after the 20th). more details here: http://www.learnwithportals.com/ -Terry ----- "so listen up boy, or pornography starring your mother will be the second worst thing to happen to you today" TF2: Spy - Black Aeronaut - 09-19-2011 HAH! That's my Mom's birthday! I'll go ahead and snag her a copy - as she would say, "Whoa! This game is my speed!" (She means that literally - it's not a very fast-paced game.) - Ebony - 09-19-2011 A friend of mine is taking the education class that is developing that curriculum (she works for a company that designs teaching programs). She was overjoyed with the idea of her homework being to play Portal 2. Don't tell me that it's already too late because of time zone BS... EDIT: Shouldn't be - they're headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. |
