Re: hmmm - Bob Schroeck - 05-25-2007 Coolness. Peggy and I confirmed, no family obligations. She has the day off today and will be doing yardwork, and anticipates being sluggish and vegetative tonight, so she has no problems with me abandoning her on a Friday night to spend hours on the computer. I'd say Task Force Fill-In-The-Blank is a go! -- Bob --------- The Internet Is For Norns. Re: hmmm - Ebony - 05-25-2007 Unfortunately, it seems that my connection, realizing that I'm about to have a three-day weekend, had gone kerflooey. I cannot see my wireless network at home. I may be able to join up if I can get to the LAN party and take advantage of my friends' network before 7pm, but I'm not sure that's going to happen. If you don't hear from me by 8:30 Eastern, Numero Catorce has been waylaid by the Mexican Little Old Lady Mafia, who are bound and determined to introduce him to every single granddaughter in the Barrio.Ebony the Black Dragon Senior Editor, Living Room Games http://www.lrgames.com Ebony the Black Dragon http://ebony14.livejournal.com "Good night, and may the Good Lord take a Viking to you." *grin* - Foxboy - 05-25-2007 That's such a great way to explain absences in-character! ''We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.'' -- James Nicoll Re: *grin* - Bob Schroeck - 05-25-2007 Works for me. -- Bob --------- The Internet Is For Norns. Re: Manticore TF? - Acyl - 05-25-2007 I'll probably be able to make it as Space Mage (34 Defender), but scanning the thread it seems like more than eight people have expressed an interest in this. o_O Let's see. =P -- Acyl Re: Manticore TF? - Logan Darklighter - 05-25-2007 I'll be there - I'd like an opinion though - Cyberman 8 and Lora'Lai are both in the right range - 35 and 36 respectively - heck, even Vigdis Brightblade can do it at level 31. So three of my characters COULD do it. And all three need/want the badge. But which one should I bring? C8 is a MA/SR Scrapper, Vigdis is a Broadsword/Inv Scrapper, and Lora'Lai is the Peacebringer tri-form (Human/Bright Nova/White Dwarf). Any opinions on who I bring to the party? -Logan ----------------- "Wake up! Time for SCIENCE!" -Adam Savage ----------------- Re: *grin* - Ebony - 05-25-2007 Quote:I know. I try to come up with appropriate excuses. Plutonium Lady's been involved in ongoing investigations of Terra Volta's safety by the NRC (as an eight-foot tall, purple skinned, atomic-powered nuclear physicist, she's one of the TV Reactor's most visible spokespeople). Killkitty, being from the future, ends up watching six or seven movies in one sitting, and then spends a day or two recovering. The Honest Gentleman, being something of a hedonist, goes places where people with lots of money go to spend it. (Sometimes he spends it, and sometimes he steals it from the people who are spending it; it depends on his mood.) The Baron, being an unpleasant incarnation of destruction and suffering, either goes off an broods for hours at a time, or finds someplace where rampant destruction happens regularly and spectates (he's fond of Baghdad these days). And Numero, being El Heroe de la Gente, gets mobbed by the Little Old Lady Mafia.Ebony the Black Dragon Senior Editor, Living Room Games http://www.lrgames.com Ebony the Black Dragon http://ebony14.livejournal.com "Good night, and may the Good Lord take a Viking to you."
