Got into a discussion about how Public Service Announcements vary between countries.
Apparently, there aren't too many countries that do "don't drive drunk" messages like this one, which still airs on Canadian broadcast TV occasionally:

The oulfella was nearly killed by a drunk driver 20 years ago. The supreme irony was that he was pulling out of a pub gateway in a brand new Mazda loaded with 3 drunken people while he was sober - and took a drunk driver who'd decided that village main-street was a great place to do 100kph+ - to the driver door. The crash was hard enough that it bent the car like a banana and skittered it 200 yards up the road.

Hmm, don't know if any of the TAC (Victoria, Australia) ones have been seen, they typically have a story and a higher production budget than Neighbours, like this:

They also attract a lot of bystanders while filming. The next one was filmed near me, and for the duration of the shoot the road was closed by a act of parliament. As a result one business apparently got a free signboard and a new fence as compensation. Note the roads in question are really in a 50 Kph zone and some vehicles are shown parked, were no one ever parks.

This is kind of amazing, especially given that it appears to have been made for a 72-hour challenge contest. Getting costumes, actors (who can sing,) music, props, and a script together plus at least a few hours of actual filming and then editing to achieve something like this in just three days is really impressive.
