Yeah, basically.

I'll admit, btw, that I'm curiously watching the registration numbers, wondering just how many active users the original boards actually have.  (And by active, I mean even just lurking, not only posting.)  Yuku's old admin panels made it hard to get a simple fast count of active members, and don't ask me about Tapatalk.  Based on the last time I looked, I have something like 350 registered users here, but so far only 55 are registered on the new board.

ETA:  Here at Tapatalk, we have 341 registered users, mods, and admins.  And short of running the "prune" task, I have no way of seeing who's "inactive" -- there's an "Inactive User" screen, but there's no way to define what makes an inactive user, so it's empty.  And I can't seem to find a way to sort the active user base by last post.  The only place I can do that, apparently, is on that inactive user screen.  grrr.-- Bob

Don't really like Tapatalk as a rule mainly because it edits out the middle of links. But it kept my password, and login just fine.
Not to worried about post counters. Not my problem. So far this works for the forum.Any thing I write here may be used for content, unless used for personal gain,
or used against the Grand Duchy of Fenewick.

Actually, Ranger, I just took a quick look at the relevant control panel options, and I don't see anything that should cause you problems.  I'll have to wait until I get home from work (and a 6 PM doctor appointment) to actually look at the file structure on my site, as I don't remember my FTP id/pwd, but pending that, it might be on your end.-- Bob

And I just used the web gateway for db admin to take a quick look at the posts table a moment ago... the two threads folks have already created in the new forums have provided me with enough info, I think, that I can write the scripts I need to port the data over.  I just need to make sure I can open the database Vorticity gave me on my local machine with the tools I have.  -- Bob
