The correct form for this math is 100x(90/100) = 90, and 90x(1+(10/100)) = 99, as they are two different equations, not an ongoing attempt to simplify the same equation.

This isn't quite accurate, Parallax was the pseudonym he wrote his book (Zetetic Astronomy: Earth Not a Globe) under. But yeah, this is the yob that is the source of modern Flat Earth theory.

I know a lot more about Japanese criminal law now that I did when I started Isekai by Moonlight, and I've lost track of how many results of multi-hour research sessions ended up in single lines in KanriKyara stories.

Never heard of Dr. Sander's Sleep Cure but that is impressive (and sounds exhausting).
As for the bell, I mostly just thought that a battery that's been providing power (even if just ringing a bell probably isn't a big draw) for that long was interesting.
