The part where he fixed up his digs? If it resets every day, then he shouldn't be able to keep his expanded room and what not. Of course, maybe he just decided to spend each day fixing something different and then for his date with Hinata, he decided to skip training and just fix up his home.
Chapter 6 and 7 are sort of interesting. They're all in the same flow (i.e. never reset; passed the written exam, talked to Kurenai, slept in the forest, went to the Forest of Death exam). Of course, that bargain isn't very helpful to TenTen since once it resets, she won't have the Kage Bunshin scroll. --

He flat out says that he leaves 60-70 shadow clones behind each time he does that. The thing that gets me is that he said he wasn't using any of the stuff that came in after the timeskip, yet appears to be allowing the memories of the clones to return to him. This may be a nit pick and Naruto of Groundhog day is becoming resticted in that he seems to be losing his ability to come up with plans on the fly, in favor of careful micromanagement plans. Note he is actually doing worse than he managed to do in the first place... he also hasn't bothered to see if stopping Sasuke from getting the curse seal in the first place is one of his goals.
All in all I enjoy it and its random, but now I want to see just see what happens when he hits the crazy point that he decides to kidnap a groundhog and give it driving lessons. Also, try to include some random update with your comments.

Edit: He says the first time through it was all luck basically. And the only way to survive is for Sasuke to impress Orochimaru -- which makes sense. No matter how knowledgeable Naruto gets, his limitations re: physical speed/strength would mean he's not knocking off O-kun.
Also, I thought that the reason Naruto did change stuff to work on re: fixing his house was so he could pick up the knowledge himself. Then when he creates his clones, they just do it. He doesn't need to receive memories from them; we already know he can send his clones to do anything he can himself. --

He also sends clones all over the place to stalk people/do recon... some of which die, when following the Pale freak around notablely... at the same time he gets the info they give him from stalking... yet I can't recall them talking to him. That is were things are muddled for me.
