For what it's worth: if you're following anything on Spacebattles, they've temporarily disabled unregistered guest views of the forums due to server load ... either from bots or heavy traffic from well-received ponyfics leading folks in.

SB is dead to me.... - Rod.H - 01-25-2012
Well I was going to do a topic on SB going private, which is annoying as some stories are currently exclusive to them. But yeah their server for the past few days was going under alot and the search engine was deactivated. Yet are the bronies to blame.....well there was a few WH40K/MLP:FiM crosses, the MLP:FiM world dropped in to the real 'Earth', ATC's lets make a pony version of a plane (currently at SR-71, AWACS & MiG 31), some odd MLP:FiM story concepts that are probably not ED friendly.
How ever the standard stories & ideas were present a ME/Dr Who cross, a Ranma 1/2 guy wanting beta, Battletech/Mechwarrior AUs, NBSG/SG1, some good dead works that need a poke. Heck a BT/Clancyverse RR that produced more noise then story which has gotten shoved into it's own subforum.
Still I want to see how some of the Nanoha/WH40k end, her being the big sister of Primarch Vulkan was one I'd kept an eye on.

The things going on at SB are incredibly frustrating, because fixing that kind of thing is pretty much what I do 40 hours a week.
Does anyone know who I might give my 2 bit ideas about helping to fix things over there?
