So, if the white king falls, Rodimus takes over? And if the black king falls, Starscream announces he's in charge? That changes the game's tactics... Smile

RE: Kick ALL the Starters Part II - Norgarth - 08-23-2021

there were optional replacement kings of Galvatron and Rodimus Prime mentioned, not sure if they are stretch goals or not

RE: Kick ALL the Starters Part II - robkelk - 08-23-2021

They're additional white kings, at higher pledge levels.

RE: Kick ALL the Starters Part II - Norgarth - 08-23-2021

I'd assume Galvatron is an additional Black King 8P

Hell - or at least Mechanicsburg - is freezing over.

Girl Genius Sourcebook and Roleplaying Game

Not live yet, but it's there... and SJGames has a preview that includes the book's table of contents (get it here), so the project can't be too far from launching, relatively speaking.

Onyx Path Publishing has a Kickstarter for W20 Apocalyptic Record. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/339646881/apocalyptic-record-for-werewolf-the-apocalypse-20th-ann-ed

This W20: APOCALYPTIC RECORD Kickstarter campaign is designed to enable us to create a deluxe hardcover edition of this supplement, designed to match the look and feel of our other 20th Anniversary Editions, and specifically serve as a setting supplement and sourcebook for the Werewolf: The Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition.

The Apocalyptic Record includes:

Five chapters of in-character accounts, reports, songs, and tales from the heart of the Garou Nation, covering stories of grief and joy, battle and peace, spirits and kin.
Story hooks in every chapter to make the content within immediately usable at the gaming table.
A chapter dedicated to the Werewolf: The Apocalypse metaplot, and how to utilize it in your stories.

is there a way to get fresh printings of the previous core books as well?

The Hero Business webcomic is having a Kickstarter:

RE: Kick ALL the Starters Part II - Shepherd - 10-20-2021

The GURPS Girl Genius Kickstarter is up and already funded:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sjgames/gurps-girl-genius-roleplaying-game?ref=ksr_email_user_watched_project_launched

Also, if you're into NSFW webcomics, Spying With Lana and Flare are making a crossover "SUPER-SIZED 64-PAGE ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL"
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/heroicpublishing/flare-and-lana-together-again
$20 for a 64 page comic seems a little steep to me (although their next stretch goal would bump it up to 72 pages), but I suppose fans of either or both series may be interested.

Not only is it funded, but it's reached its one and only stretch goal, an eight-page comic by the Foglios and Mr. Wright.

RE: Kick ALL the Starters Part II - Shepherd - 10-29-2021

If you considered backing the GURPS Girl Genius Kickstarter but haven't done so yet, you may want to do it soon. They've been so successful that the printer may not have enough paper to meet the demand. All physical copy reward tiers are now capped, with only a few hundred books still available in each tier. If you're in the US and want only the book, there are currently 229 available. If you're an international fan, there are 155 copies left right now.

RE: Kick ALL the Starters Part II - Dartz - 10-29-2021

Why the fuck are smart people still fulfilling Kickstarters to the EU through the UK?

Have they not been watching the news through the last 2-3 years?

RE: Kick ALL the Starters Part II - robkelk - 10-29-2021

Hell, they're fulfilling Kickstarters to Canada through the UK - and we share a land border.

An illustrated survival guide for surviving 4 global apocalypses (pandemic, Zombie plague, nuclear winter, global warming/rising oceans)
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/the4book/the-4-book/description

EDIT: not to say I take it seriously as a useful product, just amused at stumbling across this kickstarter. I hadn't looked into it closely enough to even have a chance of spotting the issues Raven did. :p

RE: Kick ALL the Starters Part II - Inquisitive Raven - 11-06-2021

Not impressed. The ingredient list for soap left out something critical: fat or oil. Basically, to make soap, you need fat and lye. The wood ash and water are for obtaining lye the old-fashioned way. Also, I think the amount of land lost to global warming is just a leetle bit exaggerated. We may lose half our major cities, but most of the land will not end up underwater although as places like California demonstrate, flooding isn't the only hazard of global climate change.

Onyx Path has an interesting new Kickstarter for their Trinity Continuum setting:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/200664283/trinity-continuum-anima-tabletop-roleplaying-game/description

2084. In the wake of two massively destructive events, the Federated States of America committed to building a gleaming utopia with bleeding-edge technology and the sharpest minds anywhere. Named Cascade, anyone can move to this brand-new city and live under the watchful eye of the FSA. Just sign up to be a citizen and have the latest in cybertechnology implanted into your head: a brain-enhancing device known as Glass.

One of the biggest escapes is the massively popular MMO known as Terra Surge. What started off as a massive multiplayer fantasy roleplaying game has evolved into a needed social outlet, a sandbox for collaborative creativity, and an escapist fantasy to forget the troubles of the world outside. The fictional world of Synestia has millions of digital citizens known as anima. There are many who seek the simple pleasure of slaying monsters and gaining treasure, but many players also build shops, manage guilds, and live out fleshed-out lives… and all of it is streamed directly into their brains through the miracle of Glass.

Trinity Continuum: Anima is a game of cyberpunk and LitRPG (short for “literary roleplaying”) adventure set in the future of the Trinity Continuum. Characters in Anima are Talents — supremely talented individuals with an innate and unconscious ability to change the world. They have come to Cascade for their own reasons but are drawn into the intrigues of both the physical and virtual worlds.

I don't know if any of you backed the Bean Bandit kickstarter that spun off from the Megazone and GunSmith Cats kickstarters, but my blu ray and shirt delivered last tuesday. haven't watched it yet, but I have it now

RE: Kick ALL the Starters Part II - Bob Schroeck - 01-10-2022

Oh, yeah, I got the blu-ray last week, too. Haven't watched it either. I'd completely forgotten about it, so I was absolutely baffled by the package marked "Japan Post" sitting on our mailbox.
