This was a powerful machine. Once.

Still boots. Still works. Monitor's dying. System overheats slightly. But up until a month ago it was in use, sitting for months at a time without being shut down, acting as a network bridge between an Xbox and a wifi router downstairs. And, occasionally, playing R1 DvD's. It outlasted the machine bought after it by two years and looks set to keep going inspite of a battery leak

A talented but obviously insane artist has done a number of pictures of Hatsune Miku, often in multiples, participating in various actions in World War I (as below), WW2 (he did one in which she replaces apparently all of the Bismarck's crew), and possibly some others. I was wondering about that picture, too. It apparently has the title "neat room." I'm guessing something about the stairs leading up to ... whatever it is (some kind of loft perched atop that bookcase?) may be sort of cool -- and the view out the windows looks nice if you like woodlands. I kind of like to look at woodlands like this, as long as I don't have to be there where the vegetation will trigger my allergies, and the animals will try to dispute my place on the food chain....
I discovered some wild art by a fellow named Yehudi Mercado. I can't track down a single site, or even two or three, that'll show you all his art, but consider these samples:

There're pics showing each of these characters solo, and larger than in this image. Mercado also did a series of images he calls "History Fighter," showing various historical figures as if they were superheroes or villains. Davey Crockett is obviously the Punisher, right down to the skull symbol -- with a raccoon mask -- on his chest. Teddy Roosevelt looks like he might be Sabertooth. And ... well, look at a few:
