Dragonaut? - Sofaspud - 10-21-2009 Has anyone heard of Dragonaut: The Resonance? I just caught a link that directed me to the Funimation site. I'm... not at all sure, based on the trailer, if I'm all that interested. But the wikipedia entry makes it sound like it's actually got, y'know, plot -- and is not just an excuse to show off Gainax-boobs. (Seriously, the official trailer says "Real dragons have -curves-", while showing shower scenes and whatnot. Which, okay, fine, whatever, but is that -all- it's got going for it?) Street date in NA is 11/03, looks like. I'm liking what the Wiki says, but the trailer... ugh. I'd rather go off personal reviews, if anyone's seen it yet. Completely unnecessary, really. Snrk. ''We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.'' -- James Nicoll - Bob Schroeck - 10-21-2009 Between the gainaxing at the end, and the World of Darkness-style title, I don't know what to think. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. - Wiregeek - 10-21-2009 looks like a thinly veiled excuse for drawing tits.
