The following koan posesses the Buddha nature:

Blue medium, green medium, red small. All erect and placed next to each other in order blue, green, red.

The following koan does not posess the Buddha nature:

Blue medium, green large, yellow medium. All erect and placed next to each other in order blue, green, yellow.

Is this anything like meeting a Buddha on the road? If so, the answer is obviously a block of C4.

The Buddha you meet on the road is not the true Buddha.

The Buddha you meet on the road is not the true Buddha.
Nor is it a false Buddha. Not a Buddha is the one you meet on the road, yet the Buddha-nature it has, for indeed, all that is, was, and will be
has the Buddha-nature, save that which does not. Many riddles I speak, yet the riddle true is not of that of which it speaks. If you know it, it is not what
you seek; only the blind can see it, only the deaf can hear it- only the dead can touch it. Knowledge- knowledge that cannot be known- must be, else the
master is as not a student at all.

On a more serious note, five pounds of flax.

If you meet the Buddha on the Net, put his his address in your killfile.

.....

I was right the first time, a block of C4 is definitely the solution here.
