Steampunk Starwars? - Logan Darklighter - 02-18-2010 Or Nemesis' new air wing? ^_^ http://morningcupojoe.com/2008/01/19/st ... s-in-lego/ http://nonprophet.typepad.com/nonprophe ... -lego.html - Sofaspud - 02-18-2010 That's some seriously keen use of SNOT, there. And all the fiddly bits ("greebles") really make it work. The Naboo fighter is a better example, I think, but the first thought that comes to mind is re: the TIE fighter: *fingers Victorian goatee thoughtfully* Ah, yes, I see Dr. Lehgo managed to overcome the obstacles with his Rotary Phlogiston Emitters. Excellent work, old chap! --sofaspud --"Listening to your kid is the audio equivalent of a Salvador Dali painting, Spud." --OpMegs - Bob Schroeck - 02-18-2010 Very nice, but not the first things along these lines I've ever seen. For instance, here's a Steampunk Vader that I first came across a few years ago. By the same artist: Leia The Death Star And everything else he's done. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. - Sofaspud - 02-18-2010 Yes, but, these are LEGO! LEGO makes EVERYTHING better! --sofaspud --"Listening to your kid is the audio equivalent of a Salvador Dali painting, Spud." --OpMegs - Logan Darklighter - 02-18-2010 No arguing that logic. - Star Ranger4 - 02-18-2010 I could see the Naboo one as some sort of Nemmy air support, but the tie... More like a wheeled version of his pot automatons than a flyer. Hear that thunder rolling till it seems to split the sky? That's every ship in Grayson's Navy taking up the cry- NO QUARTER!!! -- "No Quarter", by Echo's Children - Black Aeronaut - 02-20-2010 AWESOME! (^O^) - dark seraph - 02-23-2010 stem punk starwars. whast not to like? |
