New Version of Portal? - Bob Schroeck - 03-05-2010 Apparently. And the folks at Fark think they're announcing it in a pretty cool way. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. - Black Aeronaut - 03-05-2010 Oh shit, now THAT is a level of sneaky that goes beyond all sneaky! It's like a real-life Easter Egg! - Ebony - 03-05-2010 Time to play Portal again. Like that will take long. Ebony the Black Dragon http://ebony14.livejournal.com "Good night, and may the Good Lord take a Viking to you." - HoagieOfDoom - 03-06-2010 How about a sequel? http://kotaku.com/5486758/portal-2-adds ... characters Multiplayer! - Sweno - 03-06-2010 one more game that I'll by buying once it comes out on steam. -Terry ----- "so listen up boy, or pornography starring your mother will be the second worst thing to happen to you today" TF2: Spy Seconded - Foxboy - 03-06-2010 Seconded. +1 ''We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.'' -- James Nicoll - Sweno - 03-09-2010 ok more valve coolness. I imagine that steam play is a per-developer/per-game decision, but valve is definitely setting the correct standard. -Terry ----- "so listen up boy, or pornography starring your mother will be the second worst thing to happen to you today" TF2: Spy - Black Aeronaut - 03-09-2010 sweno Wrote:The part that cements this as a cool thing in my mind: "If players already own the PC versions of Valve games, they’ll get Mac versions at no extra charge through a feature called Steam Play."WHOAH. (O_O) Okay, now I really want to see if I can somehow get my Hackintosh OS working properly with sound and stuff. It will be a fun experiment to see if I can get games to work on it. Being able to play PC or Mac is a huge bonus! (^_^) - Rod.H - 03-10-2010 And from the TF2 blog, with hint of Saxton Hale content |
