Spirit and Opportunity are two of the best examples of what mankind can achieve, and they've both given us an incredible look at an alien world. Opportunity even got the chance to study a meteorite that had landed near its own abandoned heat shield, and is still moving even now.

Every time I think of either of them, I find myself hoping that, when we finally go there in person, we'll land near at least one of them and bring them back, to let humanity to see one of our greatest explorers.
