I recently had to go through this excercize because two of my common throwaway name/passwords where compromised. Now steam did the proper thing and salted and hashed the passwords, so they would need to build a rainbow table specifically for steam's salt(assuming they picked a proper salt) which will take some time, but eventually the bad guys will know all the passwords in the database. It's a pain.
