An odd, trivial search request... - Kurisu - 12-02-2011 I was wondering if I can ask you guys for a bit of help trying to figure out how to search for a rather obscure Sci Fi book series... It's a story about a British spy being assigned to an experiment which goes horribly wrong, and he gets thrown into an alternate dimension. I can't remember who wrote it, or the name of the book of series. Any suggestions would be appreciated. _____ DEATH is Certain. The hour, Uncertain... - Stephen Mann - 12-02-2011 Perhaps Richard Blade, who was regularly sent to alternate dimensions for 37 books' worth of adventures? - Kurisu - 12-05-2011 HOT DOG!!!!!! Got it in ONE!!!! Thank you very much for your help. I really appreciate it. _____ DEATH is Certain. The hour, Uncertain... - Stephen Mann - 12-05-2011 No prob, I had all the books when I was a teen. Blade was male teen escapist/power fantasy at it's finest. - Kurisu - 12-06-2011 I've read the first book, and it's been rattling around in my noggin for a while. Now that you've provided me with a name, I'll be able to fine-tune my searches for the books Thank you again. I really appreciate it. _____ DEATH is Certain. The hour, Uncertain... Richard Blade - Rev Dark - 12-06-2011 Makes me want to re-read the entire run of The Destroyer Novels (At one point I had them all up to 100+) some of the best genre satire ever. |
