We're getting there... - Bob Schroeck - 03-05-2004

Lots of activity on the prereaders' list last night as a lot of little tweaks got bandied about. Plus a lot of comments along the line of "you've hit one out of the park," which I think bodes well for my readers' enjoyment.
Unless something big shows up when I get home from work, the whole chapter goes in for final preread tonight. Which, yes, means that (again, unless something goes wrong) a week from tonight, the last chapter and the epilogues for Drunkard's Walk II will be released.
In the mean time, I'm working on the concordance entries for the new material, and deciding if I want to write some more omake...

Re: We're getting there... - Kokuten - 03-06-2004

I'm going to be helping my Main Squeeze buy her first car, get her driver's liscence, and learn to drive.
Which has to be done by next Friday.
a new chapter of DWII will be a fitting reward.[Image: kokbanner.jpg]

Well, she can't be UF Deanna Troi, so it can't be that bad.

Re: Trees - Kokuten - 03-07-2004

Lord help me, if she could drive a stick shift, or had the time to learn to drive a stick shift.. there's like 13 THOUSAND small, 4-cylinder cars available for under 1500 bucks, some of them under a thousand bucks...

and damn near NOTHING under 2500 bucks in an automatic.
