It's like a cross between hockey and murder... - Dartz - 09-08-2014 In Ireland, we have a sport called Hurling. Not to put a fine point on it, but it's basically two teams of fifteen men, each man armed with a heavy ash stick, whalloping a ball made of hard, solid leather around a pitch for 70 minutes. And they started wearing helmets in the last few years. It's been reasonably popular in Ireland for a while. And recently, it's been exported to the UK by Sky. The response of the English, is quite amusing.
