You know you've been indoctrinated by the Catholic Church when your instinctive response to 'May the Fourth be with you", is "And also with you."

The fact that it's always the first thing that comes to mind really creeps me out.

My own Irish ancestry may have been Protestant, but my French ancestry gave me back to the Guilt Trip Faithâ„¢.
At least I'm young enough my indoctrination is in English and not Ominous Latin Chanting. Wink

While not raised that way, I have the misfortune to be the son of a professional organist. For an Episcopalian parish. And since I've been singing for... well... a long time, guess who she drafts whenever the service music changes. and Christmas. And Easter. And the Bishops annual pastoral visit.

In all honesty, it sounds like something that should have a response. Of course, the semi-religious credo from the other major sci fi franchise ("Live Long and Prosper" "Peace and Long Life") does have a response, so that might also have an influence.
