Villains & Vigilantes Creators Win Back Distribution Rights - Ebony - 04-15-2016 Jack Herman and Jeff Dee, creators of Villains & Vigilantes, have been engaged in what has been called the longest legal battle in RPG history to secure the rights to their own creation. On Tuesday, they won the battle. As V&V is a pivotal part of my own RPG history (to say nothing of the fact that I believe Looney Toons et al began as a V&V game), this pleases me immensely. That's why Monkey House Games suddenly had a new edition available just three days ago! Very cool. I need to drop Jeff a "congrats" note. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. - Ebony - 04-15-2016 Indeed, and I believe there will be a Kickstarter for a 3rd edition soon. I know where some of my future pay is going to go... -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. - Sofaspud - 04-20-2016 Someone make sure to link the Kickstarter if/when it fires up and I'll contribute. I don't play V&V, never have, but I remember watching this mess unfold and I'm down with saying 'congrats' by way of money dollars. --sofaspud --"Listening to your kid is the audio equivalent of a Salvador Dali painting, Spud." --OpMegs |
