A heartwarming christmas tale - Skyfire2020 - 12-17-2016

I imagine their won't be much traffic here over the actual holiday period so I'm posting this early although it is set on Christmas eve.
The story has been around for years but no one ever seems to know the original source.  Despite the religious website, the story itself is not excessively religious.  If you can watch Its a wonderful life or read Bob's "Doug meets Jesus" fic then you shouldn't have any problem reading this.  I lost my original link and this was the first new link I found that looked decent without having to disable no-script.

As long as we're posting early, here's my annual Christmas Eve link repost. Set aside 33 minutes to listen.

them. Adversaries remain citizens of the same state, common subjects of
the same sovereign, servants of the same law."

Skye, thanks. It's a bit glurgey at the end, but it's the right thing for the season.

Rob, I don't have the time to listen yet, but I will.

My favorite Christmas tale, and it's a true story from a friend of mine. http://seymoure.livejournal.com/1342176.html
