That's a very long shot - robkelk - 06-23-2017

Canadian sniper kills Islamic State terrorist from 3.45km (over 2 miles) away.

Apparently, this is a new record for a successful long-range sniper shot off the practice range.

Apparently,
1) it was 3.54km, not 3.45km, and
2) it was a defensive act.
