I just stumbled across this; I'm not entirely sure what it's from, but if I'm understanding my Google Translate results correctly, it might be the creditless version of the opening for something called Train Man? Which would mean it isn't really an AMV, but <shrug>. Anyway, it's very reminiscent of the legendary Daicon opening animations.
EDIT: I've found the Wikipedia page for the work in question, and yes, according to it the opening is a deliberate homage to the Daicon IV short.

It's an (allegedly) true story of a 2ch user who shoo'd a drunk away from a girl on a train, received a gift from her response and then turned to 2channel for advise on what to do next. Basically - he was advised to do all the right things, how not to be a creep and basically be a good guy and they fell in love.
I had the manga of it and donated it to my college society library.
