The core group of the Blue Blazers, including J.'s wife Radical, his former partner Stranger, and a number of others who followed the original four into space are Burners, frequenting Burning Man and other similar events when they can. Consequently, they are trained fire dancers, specializing in spinning poi, staves, and hula hoops, both electronically lit and flaming. Given how fire behaves in zero-g, there are doubtless several competition and exhibition teams.
