Where should I post about Other People's Game Writing? - robkelk - 03-19-2008

http://forums.sjgames.com/showpost.php? ... tcount=321]This post by Phil Masters over on the SJGames boards got me to thinking it might be a good idea to start promoting other folks' game products on this forum. I know there's an audience for this sort of thing here...

But I don't know where to make the suggestions. General/General has such a huge turnover of posts there that any recommendations thread would disappear quickly. But I don't see any better place to post this sort of thing...

Bob, this is ultimately your show. What should I do?

You know, I think that's a great idea for a new forum. I'll add it right now.

(Five minutes later) Done.

Thanks!

Since I mentioned Phil Masters in my earlier post, I've started the forum off with a quickie-review of his latest book...

Bob, I couldn't access the forum without being logged in. Any ideas why? Is there a setting somewhere that you accidently hit or something?

- Bob Schroeck - 03-20-2008

There shouldn't be, but I'll go look.

(Moments later) Mm. Many many more settings for that forum than for those inherited from ezBoard. Interesting. But I looked at everything and basically complete access has been turned on by default. About the only thing I could do would be reduce permissions. I wonder if it's a Yuku thing. If so, more reason to be annoyed with it.

Seems OK now.

Okay, then, your guess is as good as mine.
