yuku slowdown/other wonkyness - Sweno - 06-30-2011 anyone else having issues with page timeouts or other wonkyness? it started late last night for me and has yet to resolve itself. Given that their 'site temporarily down' message last night made mention of vague dns propagation issues I'm not sure if this is something local that is just effecting me, or if other people are seeing it too. -Terry ----- "so listen up boy, or pornography starring your mother will be the second worst thing to happen to you today" TF2: Spy - Dartz - 06-30-2011 Thought it was just me having DNS issues. ________________________________ --m(^0^)m-- Wot, no sig? - robkelk - 06-30-2011 Epsilon and I also noticed wonkyness... If my reading of the messages is correct, I believe Yuku changed ISPs sometime today. Even now, avatars and some other graphics are missing. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. - dark seraph - 06-30-2011 Bob Schroeck Wrote:Yuku simply wouldn't work for me between 6 and 8 PM EDT. Double posts even. - Sweno - 06-30-2011 and just as a status update, things seem to be working fine now. Which would lend even more weight to someone screwing up (or not putting enough planning into) switching isp/dns providers. -Terry ----- "so listen up boy, or pornography starring your mother will be the second worst thing to happen to you today" TF2: Spy - robkelk - 06-30-2011 Some avatars and icons are still missing, though... -- Rob Kelk "Governments have no right to question the loyalty of those who oppose them. (as I type this my Icon is missing, but it was fine before) So my bet is that one/some of the servers in their CDN have yet to make the transition. But hey, the pages now load as fast as they should. And I'm not getting timeouts any more. So I don't feel all that pissed off. -Terry ----- "so listen up boy, or pornography starring your mother will be the second worst thing to happen to you today" TF2: Spy - robkelk - 07-01-2011 Quote:the avatars/icons thing seems to be sporadic, and transitory. The "Closed Topic" padlock icon and the "Add Poll" button icon have been missing every time I've logged on since yuku came back.
