Announcement: Extra MA Arc Slots (NCsoft store item) - Acyl - 06-17-2009 Good news, we're getting the ability to add more publishing slots for MA arcs. Bad news - you have to pay for them. Original announcement on the official forums, but the text of Niviene's post is as follows:- Quote:Attention Heroes and Villains!-- Acyl - Matrix Dragon - 06-17-2009 While awesome, and hardly shocking on the payment front, I know a number of authors that already have another five arcs written and ready to go, leaving them right back where they started. Awesome, yet still a LITTLE lacking ![]() - Sweno - 06-17-2009 I understand the need to pay for these things, each arc takes up server space and bandwith, but the rates they are charging seem a little steep. -Terry ----- "so listen up boy, or pornography starring your mother will be the second worst thing to happen to you today" TF2: Spy - Bob Schroeck - 06-17-2009 Well, they're probably chosen for consistency with the extra toon slots options, but given the relative amounts of use a player gets out of each, I have to agree that they seem a bit on the high side. Especially since other players will get the most use out of them, really, and that won't be any different from the way things are now -- we don't pay more, after all, for playing more MA content. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. - His Lovely Wife - 06-18-2009 Quote: we don't pay more, after all, for playing more MA contentDon't give them ideas Bob! - Bob Schroeck - 06-18-2009 If they're reading here, they're getting more ideas than just that. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. |
