Just today? They're trying to fix the markets after is h17 broke them, IIRc so the online store stuff is wonky at the moment.

good point. Now that I think about it, the purchase extra slots button on the toon select screen has been missing for at least a day or so.
that might have a bearing on it or be totally Irrellevant.
