IST Mention ... - NotDavies - 06-25-2008 In the bibliography for Green Ronin Games Paragons, their newer setting for Mutants and Masterminds. It's described as having "plenty of interesting ideas for a more realistic treatment of paranormals and their abilities." That's all. Just thought folks might be interested. Chris Davies. - Bob Schroeck - 06-26-2008 Oh, cool. I'll have to get a copy out of professional courtesy now. Thanks for the heads-up, Chris. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. - Bob Schroeck - 07-21-2008 Got my copy right before we left on vacation, and I've been reading it on and off for the last few days. And I just came across the entry for Vanguard... and if I'm not mistaken, I do believe I see some echoes of the International Super Teams in it. As in "inspired by the idea of", not "filed the serial numbers off of". -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. - Bob Schroeck - 07-29-2008 Okay, after finishing the whole thing, boy howdy do I see echoes. A UN superforce whose elite team is tagged "Alpha," which has a massively-powerful weather manipulator on it? Sure, guys, I'll accept the homage on behalf of the whole gang. Thanks! -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. |
