I think this would be a good gate song, but I can also see it as a "Remove Paralysis" trigger. Any kind of paralysis - magical, chemical, or even psychological - will be negated and replaced with the energy and will to get up and move. Thirty seconds of this song might be a good magegift substitute for caffeine (although "Good Morning" from "Singin' in the Rain" might be more effective).Ebony the Black Dragon

Given the lyrics and religious theme the song could also kill somebody, thereby moving them to the afterlife.
Given the repeated references to God, the Lord, and the Devil I don't think that Doug would use the song anyway.

Shepherd is right in that regard -- Doug would be very very wary of the possibility of invoking a Power with that song. Although -- as folks may have guessed -- he'll be a little less paranoid about that after DW5, he still doesn't want unwelcome divine/infernal attention. Especially with the bit about making a pact with the Devil in there...
