Re: Doctoring the Tardis - Bob Schroeck - 03-02-2007 Much as I love this recording -- I've had a copy in one format or another for 20 years or so -- there's not enough lyrical content to really justify a song effect. Sorry. For folks who aren't familiar with it, btw, this is a good old-fashioned mash-up, the kind where they had to score the blend between two songs and then go into a studio and record it from scratch, rather than digitally edit the tracks together. It's a virtually perfect combination of Gary Glitter's "Rock and Roll Part II" and the Doctor Who theme, circa Tom Baker. Oh, it's not "We will take over", but "We obey no one". -- Bob --------- Visit beautiful Boston, proud successor to Seattle as "City Most Scared Of Its Own Shadow Re: Doctoring the Tardis - Bob Schroeck - 03-02-2007 I also forgot to mention... on "Dean Gray"'s mash-up album American Edit, they blend this track with Green Day's "Holiday" to create "Doctor Who On Holiday". Definitely worth a listen.
