This should either produce a 600 foot diameter sphere of Absolute Silence, or a strange cacophonic mix of loud noises. Either way, it is guaranteed to mess with the concentration of people who need focussed thought to activate or use their powers.

Why does this remind me of the incredibly loud and bombastic "We're sneaking up on our unwary victims" song from The Pirates of Penzance?
I like the idea of the Absolute Silence -- but it only works if Doug has the volume in his helmet turned up to full.
