The Crossing (1983) - itsune9tl - 12-31-2006 Quote:Power: Returns one person of choice to life, Said person "wakes" screaming. Song has to played fully for target person to remain alive. "Powerword: Defillibrate" any one? Re: The Crossing (1983) - Valles - 12-31-2006 Twist of Fate does ressurrection already... but. My suggestion would be that, where ToF invokes deity, this one works entirely out of Doug's own resources - ie, it only works if he's at close to full power, and in the process it depletes his mana and health almost completely. Not neccessarily to death's doorstep or a coma, but weak enough to knock over with a feather. The target of the song won't be much better off, if any. Ja, -n =============================================== "Puripuri puripuri... Bang!" Re: The Crossing (1983) - itsune9tl - 01-09-2007 Quote:The song doesn't necessarily have to deplete his mana. Trust me, if you had ever been hit by a defilibrator, you would understand. The Medic yells "Clear!" before aplying the paddles for a reason. ToF invocation can lead up to a full restore. The Crossing is just your basic bring him back to life and stabilize for transport. As the powere is channeled directly through him it knocks Doug on his ass do to power feed back. Basicly it kicks like a mule when applied. Re: The Crossing (1983) - Bob Schroeck - 02-23-2007 I like this. I could work with it. I particularly like the "defibrillator" analogy -- that works for me. -- Bob --------- Visit beautiful Boston, proud successor to Seattle as "City Most Scared Of Its Own Shadow |
