Best Day Ever. - Bluemage - 09-29-2006 An acquaintance of mine just gave me ~11.9 *GB* of songs- most of them classic,to one degree or another. We're talking about 6,700 potential power songs here. Sounds like I've got my work cut out for me...Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines... My Unitarian Jihad Name is: Brother Atom Bomb of Courteous Debate. Get yours. And I wear my sunglasses at night so I can so I can Keep track of the visions in my eyes. While she's deceiving me it cuts my security. Has she got control of me? - I turn to her and say: Don't switch the blade on the guy in shades oh no. Don't masquerade with the guy in shades oh no I can't believe it! You got it made with the guy in shades oh no. And I wear my sunglasses at night so I can so i can Forget my name while you collect your claim And I wear my sunglasses at night so I can. so I can. See the light that's right before my eyes. While she's deceiving me she cuts my security She gots control of me I turn to her and say . . . Don't switch the blade on the guy in shades oh no. Don't masquerade with the guy in shades oh no I can't believe it! Don't be afraid of the guy in shades oh no it can't escape you cause you got it made with the guy in shades oh no. I said: I wear my sunglasses at night. I wear my sunglasses at night I wear my sunglasses at night. I'll say it to you now: I wear my sunglasses at night I wear my sunglasses at night I wear my sunglasses at night. I cry to you: I wear my sunglasses at night. I wear my sunglasses at night ********* I'm thinking that the song makes it so that a pair of wraparound sunglasses appear in Doug's hand (I can't help but have the idea of a 'Hey Man, Nice Shot'-esque gradual appearing of the shades over the first 30 seconds, coupled with a bit of the other effects gradually bleeding in). The glasses are indicators- more of a concept than pure, solid matter: for instance, if Doug was wearing goggles when he 'put them on', they would superimpose, leaving the appearance of the glasses, which would reveal the goggles when they disappeared at the song end. The wearer of the glasses (Doug can hand them to somebody else, if desired) gets an IFF effect- the glasses allow him/her to see auras around allies and enemies, clearly delineating which category everybody in sight belongs to. There's also a bit of a side effect- the wearer seems tougher to people around him/her, and also seems to exude an 'aura of cool', leaving any observers impressed with the clothing, glasses, and bearing of the wearer. Another potential side effect, to be potentially substituted, would be to have the 'aura of cool' effect fuzz out their recollections of anything but the glasses and the attitude...Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines... He's already prepped for this song. -- Bob --------- ...The President is on the line As ninety-nine crab rangoons go by...
