Still Looking... - Bob Schroeck - 07-18-2006 Just a reminder... I'm still looking for a good song to use for smelting and/or working ore/metal; I need it for a couple different Steps. Does anyone have any ideas? -- Bob --------- ...The President is on the line As ninety-nine crab rangoons go by... Re: Still Looking... - Kokuten - 07-18-2006 best I could come up with, I'm afraid. I finally got my hands on the song, listened to it, and sadly was underwhelmed. I'll look for Kokuten's suggestion, though. That has possibilities, and I've liked 2/3 of the Manowar songs I've heard so far. (Of course, it's a quick update, so I didn't include most of the good new songs, like Mister Pinstripe Suit. Adding all the new songs is something to work on in my Copious Free Time...) -Rob Kelk -- Rob Kelk "Governments have no right to question the loyalty of those who oppose them. Re: Three options... - Bob Schroeck - 07-20-2006 I found and listened to "The Iron Force" last night; it sounds like it just might do most of the job I need done, and maybe all of it if I play a little fast and loose. I don't think "The Lusty Young Smith" is anything close to what I need, but the Nasty Disaster song just might lend itself well. The latter also reminded me of a song done by The Frantics (of "Boot to the head!" fame), called "Heavy Metal Shop", for which I am now, um, frantically searching. -- Bob --------- ...The President is on the line As ninety-nine crab rangoons go by... Re: Three options... - Bob Schroeck - 07-20-2006 Of course, mind you I'm at work and not actually searching until I get home, but you'd think I'd think to see if the Frantics had a website... A video, if it can still be found, is a big bonus. I only know it as an audio track... Thanks! -- Bob --------- ...The President is on the line As ninety-nine crab rangoons go by... |
