Song idea - Norgarth - 02-27-2006

Since Doug is a Looney Toons fan, perhaps this could allow him to do a Taz impression. 8)
Gigi D'Agostino - You Spin Me Round
Yeah I, I got to know your name
Well and I, could trace your private number baby
All I know is that to me
You look like you're lots of fun
Open up your lovin' arms
I want some, here I came
Well I... I set my sights on you
(and no one else will do)
And I, I've got to have my way now, baby
All I know is that to me
You look like you're havin' fun
Open up your lovin' arms
Watch out, here I come
You spin me right round, baby
right round like a record, baby
Right round round round
You spin me right round, baby
Right round like a record, baby
Right round round round
I, I got be your friend now, baby
And I would like to move in
Just a little bit closer
All I know is that to me
You look like you're lots of fun
Open up your lovin' arms
Watch out, here I come __________________

Re: Song idea - Bob Schroeck - 02-28-2006

This sounds familiar... is it a cover?

It's a Cover.... - Rod.H - 02-28-2006

For textually, it's missing a few chorus & line repeats that the song I know has. Oh the version I'm talking 'bout why the classic 80's Roland synth & electronic drums Dead or Alive's, You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)

Re: It's a Cover.... - Bob Schroeck - 02-28-2006

I can almost-but-not-quite hear it in my head when I read the lyrics, which is why I asked, and the 80s version you mention, Rod, might be what I'm nearly remembering...

Re: It's a Cover.... - Norgarth - 03-04-2006

I was thinking of the 80's version. I got the chorus stuck in my head, then had to track down the without being able to recall the title or artist. 8P
The lyrics I posted were the first set I found that seemed likely.__________________
