Have been pondering doug's powers, and had a few thoughts/intuitions. Feel free to shoot down.
It seems like most songs I hear could have powers for Doug. Some good, some bad, and he should be able to get a good idea of what from hearing them. On the other hand, most of them don't feel like they should cap out his power levels - or even come close. Some of them are random and bizarre, or not very useful, or only useful in very precise circumstances. Anyone who can actually write decent songs who was trying at all should be able to write nothing *but* Doug songs, if they want to. The trick, then, would be songs that were useful, or that topped out the power charts. Forcing, then, would *force* a song to top out the power charts, by driving more energy into it, but had a good chance of breaking it into a backlash along the way as the song lacked the coolness to hold the power running through it.
Just a thought, and probably just a bit too disjoint from stated canon, but...

Well, as I've stated in the FAQ, some songwriters in Warriors World do try to write powers for Doug, with mixed success.
