Re: The Underdog - classicdrogn - 06-19-2005

Underdog is cool, yeah, but Overdog is too cool for words. Once a humble parade baloon of Clifford the Big Red Dog, he gained a life after being reinflated with the super-breath of Space Moose, able to drift where he wills and use his lead ropes to grapple things, and maintains station over a children's hospital and keeps peace in the area.
Unfortunetely, Underdog is the only one with a cool theme song. I would reccomend using it because it appeals to Doug's sense of humor to do so when it's time to drop the ... wasit janitor or clerk or street sweeper? Something like that... disguise.

What, you think Samuel L. Jackson isn't going to survive the zombie apocalypse?

SERVO: Loook *deeeeply* into my eyes... Tell me, what do you see?
CROW: (hypnotized) A twisted man who wants to inflict his pain upon others.

There's one thing you forgot to say:
Only against thieves may Doug affray...
("of those whose hearts are filled with greed
who rob and steal from those who need")

Re: The Underdog - Bob Schroeck - 06-27-2005

You know, it's been so long since I heard the Underdog theme that I can't remember it. I'm going to have to go look for the lyrics now. Hm. I have several cassette tapes of "TV Tunes" from the 80s -- I'll bet it's on one of them; I'll have to go look now.

Re: The Underdog - mephron - 06-28-2005

When criminals in this world appear
and break the laws that they should fear
and frighten all who see or hear
the cry goes up both far and near
for Underdog! (Underdog) Underdog! (Underdog)
Speed of lightning, roar of thunder
Fighing all who rob or plunder
Underdog, Underdog!
(oooo ah ooooo ah ooooo ah ooooo ah ooooooo)
When in the world the headlines read
of those whose hearts are filled with greed
and rob and steel from those in need
to right this wrong with blinding speed
goes Underdog! (Underdog) Underdog! (Underdog)
Speed of lightning, roar of thunder
Fighing all who rob or plunder
Underdog, Underdog!
.....my god, I did that from MEMORY.Brazil has decided you're cute.Brazil has decided you're cute.

Super Chicken - itsune9tl - 07-06-2005

Quote:
When you find youself in danger,
When you're threatened by a stranger,
When it looks like you will take a lickin', (puk, puk, puk)
There is someone waiting,
Who will hurry up and rescue you,
Just Call for Super Chicken! (puk, ack!)
Fred, if you're afraid you'll have to overlook it,
Besides you knew the job was dangerous when you took it (puk, ack!)
He will drink his super sauce
And throw the bad guys for a loss
And he will bring them in alive and kickin' (puk, puk, puk)
There is one thing you should learn
When there is no one else to turn to
Call for Super Chicken! (puk, puk, puk)
Call for Super Chicken! (puk, ack!)

Summons a six foot tall chicken dressed in "Zoro" costume, That steps in and takes all hits that Would actualy hit Doug.

PSYCHO Chicken! - SkyeFire - 07-09-2005

Quoth Bob:
Hm. I'm not sure that's silly enough.

Hah! Then it's time for that old Dr. Demento favorite, PSYCHO CHICKEN!!! Free MP3 at (www.psychochicken.com/music/chicken.htm)
Psycho Chicken by The Fools
I can't seem to face up to the facts
I'm tense and nervous and I can't relax
This Colonel Sanders job is gettin' me down
A crazy chicken chasing me all over town
CHORUS:
Psycho Chicken--what the f*ck?
Bwak bwak bwak bwaaak bwak bwak bwak bwak bwaaak bwak
Better run run run run run run run away
I don't know just what to do
He's got a grudge against Frank Perdue
He's clucking a lot, but he's not saying anything
I plucked him once--why pluck him again?--CHORUS
Colonel Sanders wants to cook his goose
but Psycho Chicken's still on the loose
("Hmm, a little chickie--" BWAAK!! "OHH!!")
They caught him down in Ohio
They cut off his head and they put him in the oven
They put him in a box right next to a roll
Put some coleslaw around his legs and someone took him home
Ate him for lunch and he tasted real fine ("BURP!")
but the guy who ate him, he just lost his mind!
HALF-CHORUS (with "Qu'est-ce que?")
CHORUS (with "What the f*ck?")
("Ooh, it's all covered in feathers!")
-------------------------------------------------------------
Bob Again: Just kidding.
------------------------------------------------------------
Oh. Well, darn. Forget I said anything, then.

Would you believe I have three different copies of that floating around the house right now? One censored by Dr. Demento, one censored by April Winchell, and one uncensored...
