How about an Alabama cold snap? - itsune9tl - 06-21-2005 Technichally a country song, crude, and fun, powers: 1. Within 300 feet of L.T. it drops atmospheric temperature to -40 degrees. 2. summons a truck with a working heater (note: fun with random definitons of truck) places L.T. inside truck. 3. Summons a pervert named "Johnny" (Possibly the Driver of said truck, and hopefully outside of the truck.) The Rodeo Song Gaye Delorme, (1980 Damon Records) Well it's forty below and I don't give a f*ck Got a heater in my truck and I'm off to the rodeo (chorus) It's an alamana left - an alamana right Come on you f*cking dummy get your right step right Get off stage - you God-damned goof you know You p*ss me off - you f*cking jerk You get on my nerves Well here comes Johnny with his p*cker in his hand He's a one ball man and he's off to the rodeo (chorus) Well it's forty below and I ain't got a truck And I don't give a f*ck 'cuz I'm off to the rodeo (chorus) Well here comes Johnny with his p*cker in his hand He's a one ball man and he's off to the rodeo (chorus) -- search for "The Rodeo Song" and "Canadian Beavers" for a fun cover of this one, and remember to use exact quotes. Re: How about an Alabama cold snap? - Bob Schroeck - 06-27-2005 Manytales, looks like ezBoard didn't like something you did; not even a trace remains "hidden" inside the message coding. Repost it, please, if you can remember what you wrote? Thanks. -- Bob --------- It's spelt "Frodo Baggins" but it's pronounced "Throat-wobbler Mangrove." Re: How about an Alabama cold snap? - itsune9tl - 06-27-2005 Interesting seeing as I did not intentionaly use HTML in the first place and used the link button to generate the link to origional site. See above for the lyrics, you'll have to find the sound file on your own. Re: How about an Alabama cold snap? - Bob Schroeck - 06-28-2005 Oh, I know the Rodeo Song, have for many many years, although I only just found an uncensored copy recently. Hm. Yeah, your ideas just might do it. Quote:Is this your transcription or someone else's? The line should be "Allemande left, Allemande right" -- that's a square dance step. See the Wikipedia entry on it. -- Bob --------- It's spelt "Frodo Baggins" but it's pronounced "Throat-wobbler Mangrove." Re: How about an Alabama cold snap? - itsune9tl - 06-28-2005 Quote:Which explains the line, Come on dummy get your right step right, Yes, it's someone elses transcription. interesting note: -40 farenhieght is also -40 centigrade, and at that temperature if you spit, your spittle freezes in the air and breaks on the ground. It's not a temperature be out in for very long. |
