Or maybe a time dilation effect as X weeks of training are crammed into 3 minutes...
(And just to balance it, maybe they come out of it starved and exhausted, so it can't be used right away in combat.)

Hmmmmm... I just might use this (Bob's version) in "Blue Skies, Blue Water" - Doug just might end up wanting a backup who knows how to fly the hovercycle...
