Sound like a gatesong but should be avoided. - Logan Darklighter - 10-20-2002 This one is from Final Fantasy X, it sounds like a "gate-song" but is unlikely to get him home. Other World Go on if you want it. An otherworld awaits you Don't you give up on it. You bite the hand that feeds you. All alone cold fields you wander Memories of it, cloud your sight Fills your dreams, disturbs your slumber Lost your way, a fallen knight Hold now, aim is steady An otherworld awaits you. One thousand years--you ready? The otherworld it takes you Go into the sand and the dust in the sky Go now, there's no better plan than to do or to die Free me pray to the faith in the face of the light Feed me fill me with sin now get ready to fight You know you will You know you will You know you know you know you know that you will You know you know you know you know that you will Fight fight fight Fight fight fight Fight fight fight Hope dies and you wander The otherworld it makes you Dreams they rip asunder The otherworld it hates you Free now ride up on it Up to the heights it takes you Go on if you want it. An otherworld awaits you Of course he'd have to pick it up during the Walk since FFX wasn't released until after he left home, if it was released at all given that both Japan and Computer tech seems to be quite different in Warriors World. Re: Sound like a gatesong but should be avoided. - Bob Schroeck - 10-21-2002 Sounds like an interesting song, either way... I wonder if I can find an MP3 of it somewhere... As for obvious home-songs, well, the one that takes him out of BGC isn't exactly pointed directly at home... but it does help. So something like this that doesn't sound like it would do any good may still prove useful. Thanks! -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. Something in the same vein. - Logan Darklighter - 10-21-2002 In FFX Otherworld is played twice, during a CGI sequense very early in the game and during the battle with the end boss, the song below is from the final battle in Final Fantasy VII. It is preformed in a style reminiscent of a Gregorian Choir. I hope I'm not boring anyone with with all this computergame music. Romaji Lyrics English Translation [CHORUS] [CHORUS] Estuans interius Burning inside ira vehementi with violent anger, Estuans interius Burning inside ira vehementi with violent anger, Sephiroth Sephiroth Sephiroth Sephiroth [REPEAT CHORUS] [REPEAT CHORUS] Sors immanis Fate - monstrous Et inanis and empty, Sors immanis Fate - monstrous Et inanis and empty, [REPEAT CHORUS] [REPEAT CHORUS] Veni, veni, venias, Come, come, O come, Ne me mori facias do not let me die Veni, veni, venias, Come, come, O come, Ne me mori facias do not let me die [REPEAT VERSE] [REPEAT VERSE] Veni, veni, venias, (Gloriosa) Come, come, O come, (Glorious) Ne me mori facias (Generosa) do not let me die (Noble) Veni, veni, venias, (Gloriosa) Come, come, O come, (Glorious) Ne me mori facias (Generosa) do not let me die (Noble) [REPEAT VERSE] [REPEAT VERSE] Sephiroth Sephiroth Sephiroth Sephiroth Found It. - Logan Darklighter - 10-21-2002 I found a site with an Mp3 file of Otherworld, since I'm using an ancient computer I can't download it myself so I'm posting the ULR here. www.angelfire.com/anime2/...music.html Re: Found It. - Bob Schroeck - 10-22-2002 Thanks, I'll have to go download a copy right now. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. Re: Found It. - Bob Schroeck - 10-22-2002 It would appear the link is broken or he exceeded his bandwidth limits, since both Netscape and Mozilla report that there's nothing at the other end. Oh well. -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak. |
