"Let's Go Fly a Kite", from Disney's version of "Mary Poppins".
Not much in the chorus, but those verses look interesting. I'm not entirely certain what this would do for Doug; it sounds like a kind of flight song, but the "feet on the ground" line might have some odd effects, at least perceptual ones. Maybe it takes his consciousness up flying in the visible form of a kite, while his body stays behind on the ground?

Heh. Personally, I see it as litterally turning Doug into a sentient Kite for the duration of the song! Or maybe a hang glider, since it's a man sized kite, really. Either way, you don't want to be too far off the ground when it runs out, so he'd probobly want the movie version of it, with its nice long bridges between verses. This is a great song suggestion -- I'm going to have to add it to his list.
I really ought to take up more Disney songs for Doug's repertoire (Tigger's theme, for example, and what about some of the songs from Bedknobs and Broomsticks, huh? "Substitutiary Locomotion," anyone?).

By the way, has anyone else out there caught the omake that Metroanime wrote to one of his stories, in which Ranma fell into the Spring of Drowned Stuffed Tigger Toy? Very different form of the Catfist in that one. (Oh, and Ryouga fell into the Spring of the Drowned Eeyore Toy.)

IIRC, Supercar was Andersons first foray into 'supermarionation'. The basic premise involved a Supercar that was 'triphibious', ie land, air and Sea capable.

Sorry to hear that...
I tend to just look past that, at the characters, the stories, and the tech.
Each episode of Thunderbirds has at least as much sory at a modern action movie! [grin]
And, while the puppet work might cause wincing, the special effects can be quite amazing.
Still, I would like to know if the IR "camera detectors" rely on them using electronics... I don't see how they could work on an old box brownie! [grin]
