I can't think of a better way to counter an ongoing cruciatus curse than a song that grants magically induced masochism. I also wonder if Doug
could program his helmet to automatically end any currently active song and activate this song in the event of him screaming for more than X seconds.

Dunno if I have a place for it in the plot, though. That Step's not fully laid out yet, but off the top of my head I can't think of a place where something like that could fit in... doesn't mean that I won't, but for the moment...
