Science Fiction/Double Feature - Proginoskes - 09-13-2010

How many showtunes does Doug have in his helmet? And what might this song from the Rocky Horror Picture Show do?
Quote:Michael Rennie was ill the day the earth stood still

But he told us where we stand

And Flash Gordon was there in silver underwear

Claude Raines was the invisible man

Then something went wrong for Fay Wray and King Kong

They got caught in a celluloid jam

Then at a deadly pace it came from outer space

And this is how the message ran:

Science Fiction - Double Feature

Dr. X will build a creature

See androids fighting Brad and Janet

Ann Francis stars in Forbidden Planet

Oh-oh at the late night, double feature, picture show.

But when worlds collide, said George Pal to his bride

In the back row at the late night double feature picture show.

Oh, Doug has a good selection of show tunes -- he's remarkably catholic in his music tastes that way. As for this one... Mm. Good question. A movie monster equivalent to "76 Trombones" does sound fun...

Alternately, it could summon a simulacrum of The Lips and, upon everyone in earshot, enforce a singalong, complete with audience participation script.
